Chris Shaw born and raised on the south side of Chicago understands what it means to fight. Dealing with the street life not by choice had to fight with gangs and trying to do the right things; but knowing that if he got in any trouble that he had to deal with family. Raised in a single mother home without any males in the house turned out just fine. Shaw understanding the value of family really knows what it means “it takes a village to raise a child”. For a kid who stayed in trouble with school and not wanting to listen to anyone had received many blessings from family and neighbors (whippings if you know what I mean).
Chris Shaw attended the great Bethune- Cookman University with a degree in Broadcast Production Technology. Before he left home in Chicago Shaw was told not to come home without a degree; therefore he is still in Florida with a degree.
Shaw really enjoys life and understands his purpose thus far in the body of Christ. Shaw was really blessed when he received his career in the broadcasting world. Rocking the airwaves on a daily playing Gospel music is where Shaw seeks God on a daily. Music is something that he grew up on and knows the power behind words. Shaw has a lot of mottos to go by in life, but the two that he follows on a daily is “seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness shall be added unto thee.” “I truly live my life to be a blessing to others.”
